Finally a Pregnant Picture...

Ok, I have been dreading putting a picture of me up of the blog for the whole world to see because I didn't want to just look like a fat lady that says she's pregnant. So, I am finally pregnant enough that I look it. So here is me at 30 weeks. Little Jeremy moves A LOT and is starting to shove my ribs out of his way. I feel good though and am happy. I am also sporting a new haircut. I got back from the grocery store tonight and I must have been craving it because I bought a lot of fruit. Well, my fruit drawer in the fridge has been so dirty and I just keep all the fruit in the bags in the drawer. Something leaked in there a million years ago... I don't really know. I'm embarrassed to say I was ignoring it because I didn't want to get down there and clean it. Well tonight with all my lovely fruit I just couldn't stand putting it in the drawer. So I pulled the drawer out to clean it and......OH MY GOSH.....it was way worse underneath. I had to give in to what was needed and I yanked all the shelves out and got to washing. All expired food when bye bye and everything got a good Clorox wash. Now look how beautiful! And I couldn't believe how much room is in there without all the old food. Yay me!
The rest are just some cute pictures of David. He is in underwear here and climbed into my clean laundry basket for a pretend nap.
Here is David's special friend/baby that he takes care of and loves and snuggles and does just about everything with. "Puppy" wanted to get his picture taken.
Here is my sweetness being his cute self.

Musings on the 3rd Trimester- Officially 7 Months Today

  • I can no longer sit with my back and lap at a 90 degree angle
  • Winding up the vacuum cord is the WORST chore
  • I go pee, but when I stand up my bladder feels full again
  • Bending over to pick something up precedes 5 mins of heavy breathing
  • I am never sure what meal will stick, or which meal will be rejected
  • Sleep is never sound with the constant bathroom trips through the night
  • I need new garments, because underwear can only stretch so far
  • Customers give me dirty looks at work because they think I'm 16
  • I cannot go 2 mins without burping
  • Light exercise is good while pregnant, but where to women get the energy?

March of Dimes Dairy Queen Night

Most of you that read this blog will get an email invitation and probably a phone call inviting you to this but here it is to read first. My work, Dairy Queen is hosting a MOD Team Tera night for my family MOD fundraising. From 4pm-10pm 15% of sales will be donated to MOD. So come one come all for a burger and some ice cream. You will getting food and donating! Its going to be Monday March 29th and the restaurant is located at Higley and Baseline right by the Gateway Hospital. Put it on your calendar. And like I said, I will remind you all PLENTY of times. :-) We got involved after my niece, Tera passed and attached below is a little of her story.

Our niece Tera was born 5 weeks early with complex congenital hear defects. Her prognosis was guarded but optimistic and positive. Doctors told her parents that her medical condition could cause death, but for 13 days, they focused on loving her and bringing her home. She successfully went through open heart surgery, but passed away on September 12th, 2001.

Along with Tera's parents and siblings, we have walked as a four state "Team Tera" in her honor for the last 8 years, raising over $21,000. It is a cherished family tradition. We appreciate your support as we try to do our small part to help other babies and families who endure the effects of prematurity, congenital birth defects, and infant death.

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
