Big Boy Bed!!!!

After about a month of David climbing out of the crib and then sleeping on a cusion on the floor we finally took down the side of the crib and made a day bed. He was incredibly excited and kept backing up for a running start and then flying onto the bed. We did find him on the floor an hour after he fell asleep and Tyler put him in his bed. So, it might take a few nights for him to get it, but we are very proud of our big boy.

Naptime

Now that David gets out of the crib this is how I usually find him during naptime. After a few solo missions with unhappy consequences, he has now learned to rescue puppy (blue dog) first by throwing him out of the crib and then follow. (Puppy's head does not fit through the bars of the crib. He used to climb out and then reach into the crib to grab him and pull and pull and pull and leave a very strangled puppy while David cried, "BA BA!" With experience we knew exactly what had happened and we would reunite him with his most precious puppy.)

Mommy and David Fun

David swiped the camera off the desk and amungst the blurry shots he actually managed a real picture. I call it "A Foot Discovered".
Then we played!
And got stuck. And instead of mommy saving him she grabbed the camera.

Rocking Out

We got the rockband set which now includes for us the drums and the microphone. David was very excited to play an entire song on the drums.

Nap on the Floor

This is what I see when I look under the crack of the door during naptime. David climbs out of the crib, plays with his toys, and then falls asleep on the floor. I gather he was playing with the school bus went sleep hit him.

David in the Tubby

David got a set of the tubby alphabet pieces and I always stick one on his back and he chases it around like a tail.
